Guest guest
Hi Jennifer, >Yesterday I ate two sandwiches with sprouted rye bread, hummus, >cabbage leaves, red onion, artichoke heart (packed in water) a couple >of kalamata olives (fatty) and some capers. They were OUTSTANDING. Wow, that sounds super entertaining. I'm always looking for different tastes to add to salads and sandwiches and it seems you have a talent for it! I bought a sandwich somewhere that had artichokes as one of the fillings and I thought that was " so creative " . I don't think I've ever put cabbage leaves on a sandwich. I hope to hear what you come up with next, because I'm sure it will be inspired! >I must say, the sandwiches are my favorite as well as the Amy's >Minestrone soup in the can which tastes better than any canned soup >I've ever had, bar none, even clam chowder. It's good to find at >least two things I love so far. I'm a huge fan of Anderson's pea soup. Theirs is better than any other I've tried, IMO. I do put some stuff on the top to jazz it up a little (herbs and spices). Oh, and I'm not sure if this list considers nuts to be too-high-fat to discuss? If not, I'll recommend pine nuts. Very flavorful -- a handful can be added to all sorts of things. I've only just started using pine nuts in the last few months, so I'm still enjoying them as a " new " food. best, Moria
