Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I can relate to what Maureen wrote about feeling out of place at Thanksgiving. I think the best thing to do is to actually try to immulate some of the foods that are being eatten proving that you can be a vegan and actually eat some of the same foods that others do. I made a great Thanksgiving stuffing and gravy and with a salad and baked sweet potatoe I felt perfectly in place for Christmas. I make a killer vegan chili as well that my son eats like crazy. If people would at least try out some of these vegan alternatives then they would discover that they can eat pleasantly without any sense of loss of favorite foods. Now that I have found a way to make potatoe chips in my food dehydrator, those potatoes that I saw on sale for 10 cents a pound look better and better!
