OT: Bees, honey....

I worked with bees a bit on an organic farm and for me, they are just pheromone

machines.

 

But, I still don't use honey, and if it is in something that I consume external

to home cooking, I don't go crazy.

 

As to the bee shortage, what fascinates me is that we had " tons " of bees this

(and last year) through November... several kinds. We had planted many types of

winter/summer squash, cukes, and a very extensive amount of flowers.

 

My current thinking is that since all we grow is in organic approach (don't use

pesticides), like many organic farmers I've read from online, our bees are fine.

I tend to think it's the factory-farming areas that have more problems. Bigger

discussion for another list, but not this one.
