thought I would start by sharing one of my favorite recipes. It is out

of the Hallelujah Acres cookbook.

2 cups ground almonds

1/2 cup honey

Mix this together into small balls and roll in coconut.

I am going to be getting back on track once the holidays have passed

here again, so I am glad I found you all.

Hi Kym,Welcome to the group. Wow! Mom to 7... that's a handful I'm sure. Just a quick reminder though, this is a Vegan message board and honey is not Vegan. This confusion come up a lot and usually sparks a debate on the boards. But we try to substitute that in recipes with something like agave or maple that is not an animal (including bees) product. Good luck on getting back on track, I'm sure a lot of us are on the same boat with you.~VictoriaKimberly <praterkym Sent: Thursday, December 25, 2008 5:57:06 AM almond balls and introduction

Hi and thanks for the recipe which I will adapt to be vegan and give

it a try. Aside from not being vegan, isn't this also a fairly hig

fat recipe? Def not fat free.....

Happy New Year!
