Guest guest
I *would* post my recipe for Cincinatti-style Chili that we used to make every winter (seemed like a Winter, comfort food), *BUT* it is based on hamburger and I would not want to offend. Rather, I'd like to ask if anyone else has a recipe for Cinci-style (Skyline) Chili? Otherwise, I may start experimenting with a TVP substitute as a start... + John - Michelle Ok so chili has been mentioned in previous posts...so start posting your chili versions... .. Guest guest
Why not post it and just put "ground beef substitute" instead? Or if you want to give it a try with other ingredients first, TVP should work nicely, or even just a couple of cans of lentils -- I use them to make my shepherd's pie and they are a great substitute.Anna -------- To: Re: Chili - Cininatti-style (Skyline) Chili?21/11/2008 05:25 I *would* post my recipe for Cincinatti-style Chili that we used to make every winter (seemed like a Winter, comfort food), *BUT* it is based on hamburger and I would not want to offend. Guest guest
I would love the recipe. We went to college near Cincy and loved the spice blend in that chili and would love to "veganize," it! -Becky - Rodstruelove Thursday, November 20, 2008 6:13 PM Re: Chili - Cininatti-style (Skyline) Chili?
