safe to eat?

Hurricane Ike hit TX but the winds came up the midwest and left a lot of

us in the dark, taking down a lot of electric lines. I finally got my

electric on tonight, after 7 days. My question is about the tofu

(Nasoya in the sealed tubs). It was cold in the refrigerator (rarely

opened) for about 2 days then gradually warmed to room temps for the

remaining 5 days. The tubs were never opened. Is it is safe to eat? I'm

lucky I really don't have a very finicky stomach that gets sick on the

slightest thing easily. One tub says to use by Oct 31, the other, Oct. 2.

What do you think?
