Guest guest
When I couldn't find fat free vinaigrette at my usual shopping spots, I checked a few recipes on-line, gathered common ingredients, and left out the olive oil. One way to use this dressing is to pour it over romaine or other green and purple lettuce along with approximately 1 1/4 cup sliced fresh strawberries. Teens and above love the result, including my older son's hard to impress friends. My younger son, aged 9, was less impressed, probably because he doesn't like vinegar. Fat Free Raspberry Vinaigrette Salad Dressing Approximately 4-6 servings (enough to cover 4-6 cups of fresh lettuce) 8-10 small or 4-5 large frozen or fresh raspberries 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard 1 1/4 teaspoons Spleda or sugar 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon or 1 Tablespoon fresh tarragon dash of salt - optional Put all of the ingredients into a blender; blend to desired texture.
