Brewer's vs. nutritional Yeast

Not on purpose, anyway.

 

I mentioned that in some early recipes Mary McDougall wrote " brewer's

yeast " when she most likely meant to say nutritional yeast.

 

And some people, when they walk into a HFS and ask for nutritional yeast

get led to the brewer's yeast, instead, as happened to me in my early

forays into vegetarian cooking in the mid-1970's. That's why I

originally wrote to be careful you get the right stuff. :)
