Guest guest
Just make sure you see your doctor and take all precautions recommended. My doctor is starting me on vitamin D and I already take vitamin B12. (I'm not pregnant, lol.) My local hospital has a Lifestyle Medicine Department. They are experts and vegan eating and health. You might want to see if you have something like that near you.
Guest guest
that reminds me of another thing I wanted to add to my original reply - if your current medical professional isn't supportive of a plant-based diet, look for one who is! Guest guest
Congratualtions, and you do not have to eat meat. Your baby will be much healthier probably. Here are a few websites on vegan pregnancies if you want to check them out. Good Luck! http://www.veganhealth.org/articles/preginfchil http://veganhealth.org/articles/realveganchildren http://www.vegfamily.com/vegan-pregnancy/index.htm http://living.peta.org/2008/eating-for-two
