Freeze very ripe bananas and process through a food processsor or champion juicer...it is amazing! You can add different frozen fruits to the banana... MMM! I love smoothies and icees but I miss the cupfull of dig your spoon in ice cream. I would really appreciate some recipes - especially during this hot summer. Thanks in advance.---Check out our recipe files at http://www.fatfreevegan.com .

Try making your own. I make soy scream all the time for my kids. I bought an inexpensive ice cream maker ($23.00) and use recipes I find online, from friends, or just my own concoctions. They are always low fat (only the fat intrinsic to the ingredients - none of which is oil or other added fat) and lots of different flavors. It only takes about 30 - 40 minutes to make. when it;s done I either serve it as a "soft serve" type of soy cream or put it in the freezer for a firmer texture. Any way I do it, it always comes out creamy and rich tasting. It's also a lot cheaper than the store bought brands.

God's Peace,

Gayle
