Guest guest
Anyone know if cous cous is one of the whole grains that the McDougall Program endorses, or is it a refined grain or pasta product that is therefore not allowed on the program? Dr. McDougall mentioned years ago that when the MWLP book was in editing, couscous was left in and referred to as an allowed whole grain by accident. It is actually a pasta product and not allowed on the Maximum Weight Loss Plan. BUT Being a pasta and available in whole wheat versions, it *is* allowed on the regular McDougall plan. Mary McDougall has written a number of recipes that use it. Enjoy! Sue in NJ
