We'll, the question was posed on the List. Here's what I had:

 

Whole-grain, flax seed blend Fettucine with a Sage/White Bean/Onion/pomegranate

balsamic vinegar blended sauce (a la " Vegan Planet " by Robin Robertson), steamed

broccoli spears, mixed lettuces salad with grated carrots, chopped celery, and a

tahini-based dressing.

 

The sage, broccoli, and greens were home-grown. The dressing homemade without

oil. The carrots organic, the celery domestic.

 

.... happy hour was a homemade " rum mojito " made with Mint growing in the

yard.... and the wine was a decent Chardonney... (crushed with my own feet...

not!)

 

FYI, Mark (tonight will probably be salad, steamed Eastern Shore corn ears, and

some sort of tofu/snow peas/mushroom szechuan stir-fry (chili garlic sauce,

etc.). Harvested four lbs. of snow peas this morning... pulled a few onions...

may put some home-grown kale in the mix, dunno... tired from digging another

plot for more eggplant, basil, and pepper plants already hardened off to be

planted tomorrow a.m.)
