Here's what I had: Whole-grain, flax seed blend Fettucine with a Sage/White Bean/Onion/pomegranate balsamic vinegar blended sauce (a la " Vegan Planet " by Robin Robertson), steamed broccoli spears, mixed lettuces salad with grated carrots, chopped celery, and a tahini-based dressing. The sage, broccoli, and greens were home-grown. The dressing homemade without oil. The carrots organic, the celery domestic. .... happy hour was a homemade " rum mojito " made with Mint growing in the yard.... and the wine was a decent Chardonney... (crushed with my own feet... not!) FYI, Mark (tonight will probably be salad, steamed Eastern Shore corn ears, and some sort of tofu/snow peas/mushroom szechuan stir-fry (chili garlic sauce, etc.). Harvested four lbs. of snow peas this morning... pulled a few onions... may put some home-grown kale in the mix, dunno... tired from digging another plot for more eggplant, basil, and pepper plants already hardened off to be planted tomorrow a.m.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
