I just bought the cheap-o $20 special from the " big box store " in my

town. It is not " good " but it works really well. It takes longer to

cook things than the $200+ pressure cookers do, but it gets the job

done well and simply.

 

If you have a bigger budget, I'm sure someone else will be able to

recommend something more sophisticated but I just wanted to chime in

that the cheap stuff can work pretty well, too, depending on what your

specific cooking needs are.
