Guest guest
Wow... what a shock. I'd just finished blogging about Essy's video about " Heart Attack Proofing, etc. " and sending a note to FatFree, when I got the news feed about Tim Russert dying of a heart attack. People need to realize that, in 2006 (latest figures available), some 750,000 American men and women died of heart and cerebrovascular disease. Allowing for the 3 to 6 percent with " genetic " issues, that's still way too many people dying needlessly. Would that the medical establishment and more carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans, understood: a low-fat vegan diet can not only reverse heart disease (which conventional medicine can't do), it can, literally, " heart attack proof " you. For me, the decision on which way to go was a no brainer. Lost the taste for fat, feel great, plan to be around for a long time. FYI, Mark
Guest guest
I agree Mark we have been vegetarians for about 5 years now. But being in texas people feel they just will not survive without meat... Mark Sutton <msutton wrote: Wow... what a shock. Guest guest
A shock indeed - and a wakeup call. I spent several years trying to follow Dean Ornish's diet and then drifted away from it. I'm ready to give it another go! Chayah , Mark Sutton <msutton wrote: > > Wow... what a shock.
