steaming with broth?

I noticed that people have been refering to steaming with broth. i have

only put

plain water in the bottom of my steamer, does using broth make much of a

difference? I

was thinking that only the water would turn to steam, so putting anything else

in the

bottom wouldn't make much difference. Would be glad of any advice.
