Hi Veg

Shiritaki are excellent in a cold Aisian salad with a soy/rice vinegar/

toasted sesame dressing. You dont even have to cook them, just put them in a

bowl, pour boiling water over them and let them soak for 15 minutes then

drain,

Excellent for a veg sukiyaki or shabu shabu too!

I like them but only eat the kind from the Asian market because the

tofu kind aren't vegan (contain shellfish). They take a little getting

used to, and I don't recommend them in anything but Asian dishes. I

have several recipes for them on my blog, but the one with pesto isn't

really good at all! :)
