There's a steady bunch of homeless guys who hang around the laundromat and it seems there are different people on different days. When I switched laundry day from Wednesday to Thursday I made friends with the new gang, and a few weeks ago hit the place on Wednesday again and got a warm " welcome back " from my " regulars. " The next week I didn't go until Thursday again and the new gang asked where I was the week before! Now that the warmer weather is here I'll be hitting the place twice a week so besides my Thursday group I'll see the Monday people again for the first time since last summer. I wonder how many of them are still around. I drive my husband crazy with my " tales of the street people " each week. Some of the stories I hear could fill an issue of Weird NJ magazine. http://www.weirdnj.com Sue in NJ
