Here's today's meal plan: B: Oatmeal; piece of fruit L: Salad with roasted garlic, mushrooms, and balsamic vinegar; purple asparagus; chana dal (1/2 cup) D: Beans (1/2 cup) & brown rice & salsa & veggies S: Fruit, cut-up veggies I'm following the Healthy Heart book with regard to stuff like fruit (2 a day) and beans (a cup a day); also, I'm going to try to choose whole grains whenever possible, but I do want to use up the white flour and white rice in the house, so I'll use them sparingly until they're gone, but not buy more.
