Also looking for a creamy, cheesy, oil free, vegan salad dressing. Maybe using nutritional yeast for the cheesy flavor? Or Vegan parmesan?

Thanks!

You could put nutritional yeast in this, I bet!

Easy Creamy Salad Dressing Submitted by: Inkiepoo

I like creamy salad dressings that seem full of fat so since we can't have that "fat" (nasty word)--here is my salad dressing:

1 box Mori Nu tofu, lite (yellow and white box)3 T. rice vinegar1/2 t. salt (opt.)1 t. Schillings salt free garlic & herb spices

Put all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. I really like this dressing. You can make a base of the tofu and vinegar and salt and then do whatever seasonings you like!!

Hi Marilyn.

I make a pseudo-ranch dressing that's thick and delicious (in my opinion) and simple to make (again, in my opinion).

I mix two 12oz. containers of Tofutti Better Than Sour Cream with one 14 oz. jar of Fat Free Nasoya Nayonaise and whisk well. I then add a little sea salt, garlic sea salt from a grinder, and Italian seasonings from a grinder. A little minced parsley is good too. Add the amount and kind that suits your taste. It makes a great dip too, especially if you add minced onion. It's nice and thick. You can halve the recipe easily. Add some nutritional yeast in your salad for a cheesy taste. I love to make a salad with fresh lettuce and spinach, raw broccoli, mushrooms, sprouts, soy nuts, sunflower seeds, and soy bacon bits. A little faux chicken or turkey mixed in is a bonus! Any raw veggie is great dipped in it.

Enjoy!

Kim
