Guest guest
Breakfast: toast and jam (I'm never very hungry at breakfast) Snack: a cup of split pea soup (Andersen's -- vegan, and no fat. One of my favorite pre-made McDougally foods) Lunch: Went to the local natural grocery store and had lunch in their excellent deli -- roasted kabocha squash with no fat, butternut-and-jalapeno soup with very little fat (olive oil was the last ingredient, even behind the jalapenos), and some vegan sushi (cucumber/carrot/avocado). Dinner: Right now, i'm making spaghetti sauce from tomato sauce, onion, garlic, basil, mushrooms, and fava beans. We'll have spaghetti and on the side some broiled yellow summer squash (sprinkled with salt-free seasoning first). Snack possibilities for tonight: popcorn, fruit, cereal with rice milk I had the silliest thing happen to me yesterday. I had made the attempt to sign up for a vegan-themed message board that I'd heard good things about. They went and looked at my blog, and because a past entry talks about eating eggs, they declined to let me sign up. The silly thing is that that really upset me for a few hours, as though I give a flying leap what some strangers think about my past eating habits. You folks are much more my style -- helpful and supportive and understanding that not everyone popped from the womb with a rock-solid vegan ethic. Anyway, I love you guys.
