Guest guest
So I mentioned earlier that I've been having mysterioius high blood pressure after a life of low blood-pressure, and that I was pretty sure it was because I had started eating meat and other junk over the last couple of years. I was scheduled for some surgery this past Thursday (it went fine), so on Halloween, when I saw my doctor for blood tests, I decided to go vegan again, and to at least be careful about fat. That gave me 8 days before my surgery to see how a low-fat vegan diet would affect my blood pressure. All through my hospital visit, my blood pressure was either normal or low, and now that I'm out of the hospital, I'm McDougalling it again, and feeling so much better that I can't believe I ever even *wanted* to fill my body with junk. I mean, it was very tasty junk, but the way I feel now is so worth eating a pile of veggies instead of a pile of deep-fried meat. :-) Serene -- Spin the auto-sig generator, and she says: " History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purpose.
