Guest guest
I'm searching for one that you would use to cut shortening into flour for pie crust and things like that. They're nearly impossible to find anywhere, and I know KitchenAid makes all sorts of handheld 'gadgets', but I can't find a complete list. Of course, most would not be made by KitchenAid. Shortening is not exactly fat free, of course. Aly
Guest guest
Cooking Light magazine had low fat pie crust recipes several years back. They started with a slurry. Crusts are easy to substitute for cruelty free ingredients once you have their techniques. Their customer service may be helpful.... - Alyza Monday, October 22, 2007 6:38 AM Re: Semi OT; Does kitchenAid make an old fashioned pastry cutter? ap_to_be wrote:>I'm searching for one that you would use to cut shortening into flour >for pie crust and things like that.
