Together, we can continue to help reduce and eventually eliminate these abuses, by pressuring KFC, the largest purchase of broiler chickens (850 million per year) to require that its suppliers take measures to reduce birds' suffering, including the implementation of "controlled atmosphere killing."

 

We've been successful in convincing KFC Canada to agree to PETA's requests, and 65% if their restaurants are even offering vegan "chicken" - bringing veganism further into the mainstream. If we continue the pressure, it's only a matter of time until KFC USA also agrees, and the changes will cascade throughout the entire poultry industry. The faster this happens, the better for the animals.
