Ruffage Vegan/Veggie Resturant in Waikiki, Hawaii.

I discovered this really wonderful vegan/veggie restaurant and health

food store just one block from Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. When

I recently traveled there I was concerned about my eating options and

did a lot of research prior to my visit but did not come across this

place on the web. Not until our cab took a wrong turn did I see a

little sign a block from our hotel that said, 'HEALTH FOOD STORE'.

Much to my surprise they had a veggie and vegan menu as well as

cruelty free health care products that I couldn't get any where else

close by. They even have a Tofu Scramble served all day.

There Vegan Special is awesome. It's home made vegan chili, with

seasoned avocado, a super yummy but basic side salad with a side of

brown rice.

 

Watch out for the veggie dog it is not vegan. But the staff who are

super duper nice will warn you that the dog has egg whites in it if

you try to order the chili cheese dog with out cheese.

 

I hope anyone who travels to Waikiki makes this there place of choice.
