We need your help!

As some of you may know, my partner (and superstar activist) Miranda and I have,

for the past few months, been showing sections of Earthlings on a large

projection screen outdoors to the general public on busy city streets in

Berkeley and San Francisco. I'm happy to report that this has been a great

success. This past Friday night in Berkeley, for example, one couple stopped

early in the evening to watch the movie. At first, the man, not interested in

the video, kept asking his partner to leave. She refused, wanting to learn about

the human use of non-humans. Within ten minutes, the man had a change of heart

and was asking all the passers-by to watch the video.

We have witnessed amazingly powerful experiences when we show the video, much

more powerful than any we've had in our collective years of full time activism.

We've seen people crying while they watch the movie; we've seen people make the

link between human and non-human oppression; and we've seen people go from not

being interested in veganism to making a strong commitment to go vegan within

the span of twenty minutes. This is the most meaningful and effective outreach

to the general public we've ever engaged in.

One lesson we've learned from our personal outreach experience is that

conversations are where the magic happens. Conversations are often what people

need to move past simply being disturbed by the information to committing to

going vegan. And that's where we need your help! The more people who show up to

help out, the more passers-by we can collectively speak with about veganism. If

you're interested in joining us in promoting veganism as a response to the

oppression of non-human animals, please email me and I'll notify you as we

schedule showings. Come on out with us!

Special thanks to R., who has helped make the SF showings a success.

With hope for a vegan future,

Victor
