The first thing I want to say is - CONGRATULATIONS - to everyone on this list who worked so tirelessly on Proposition 2. Your hard work paid off!The second thing I want to say is - GET BAKING! The 2nd Annual Vegan Cookie Exchange is less than 5 weeks away! The Vegan Cookie Exchange is a friendly event, opened to everyone who loves to bake. This was a very popular event last year, so please note that attendees will be limited to 30 (and I currently have 18 who have sent in their RSVP). Your cookies must be VEGAN and contain no animal products Vegan ingredients are defined as: Containing no animal or animal bi-products, including eggs, honey, dairy products, or any products derived from animals, such as whey powder or gelatin. Be sure to read (and re-read) all of the ingredients you use in your cookies. Still not sure? Visit this resource for help www.vegweb.com Bring a list of your ingredients to the party. You don't have to share your grandmother' s secret recipe unless you want to, but please bring a list of ALL ingredients used to make your cookies so that people with food allergies can confirm what's in them before tasting. By request: you must note on your list of ingredients they type of sugar you used (organic, vegan, traditionally processed). Bring a large platter to arrange and display your cookies AND a large container to collect the cookies
