Guest guest
If eggs are more likely to come from out of state if Prop. 2 passes, and therefore out-of-state egg factory farms would stand to benefit, then why is it that the biggest contributors to the NO on Prop. 2 campaign are factory farms from out of state? Because (1) this is NOT going to happen and (2) they know if it passes here, it will eventually pass in other states. Check the YesonProp2 website -- it lists the donors to the NO on 2 campaign. Guest guest
I am not an expert on Prop 2 but I do know that energy costs for transportation must also be factored into Prop 2. Transporting products from out of state cost more than transporting products within our state. As fuel costs go up so do transportation costs. Any increase in production costs within California, and I don't know that production costs will increase, should be offset by lower fuel costs for transportation within our state.
