Speaker Needed for November 21 Event in South Tahoe

Hi Everyone,

 

My college based group, A.W.A.R.E. (Advocates for Wellness, Animal Rights, and

the

Environment) is sponsoring our Second Annual " Turkeys-Giving-Thanks " Dinner. We

need

a dynamic speaker who promotes a plant based diet. I know that this is just over

3 weeks

away but it is a long story why we didn't line someone up sooner. If you know of

a good

speaker or are a good speaker yourself, please reply. We offer a modest

honorarium, travel

costs, and an opportunity to sell your book if you have one. We anticipate about

90 - 100

people at our event.

 

As a backup, we could possibly show a film. If you know of a film **other

than**Eating,

Peaceable Kingdom, The Witness, Sustainable Table, A Cow At My Table, Diet for a

New

America, The Emotional World of Farm Animals, ---all of which we've shown at

past

events, please send recommendations!
