FYI: UniverSoul does not have elephants at this time. I'm told they stopped leasing elephants from George Hanneford and do not expect to have elephants for the remainder of the year. It's unclear if they will have elephants in the new show next year. Animals we saw today at the circus: 2 llamas, 1 zebra, 1 pony, 6 tigers, 2 camels and horses.

Please Help Educate Circus Patrons At UniverSoul Circus

 

Please join Citizens For Cruelty-Free Entertainment at UniverSoul Circus, October 25 through November 2, to educate patrons about the inherent cruelty of using animals in circuses.

 

UniverSoul now leases animals from at least two different animal leasing companies, including Lancelot Kollman Ramos who the USDA found responsible for causing injuries to two lions resulting in the unnecessary death of one, lying to investigators about his actions, using physical abuse to train lions, and in the past two years been fined in excess $50,000 for violations of the Animal Welfare Act. UniverSoul leases zebras and camels from Ramos. In addition, UniverSoul uses tigers, llamas, horses and a pony are used in the show.
