Fresh Vegan

Sorbet and Vegan Dessert Sampling

WHEN

Thursday, October 2, 6:00 PM to 9ish

TIP: You can totally skip dinner and just come directly to this event. It's OK,

we won't tell.

(And all the sorbet is either low fat or non fat!)

WHERE

Nilda Ave., Mountain View. (Residence)

RSVP for the address. http://www.bayareaveg.org/rsvp.htm?id=1980

WHAT

We'll run chopped [FROZEN] fresh fruit through a couple of Champion juicers and

make

wonderfully refreshing and incredibly delicious fresh frozen sorbet. Any kind

for fruit

works: banana, blueberry, raspberry, cherry, apple, acai, quava, honeydew melon,

orange,

pineapple, kiwi, plums, peaches, coconut milk, lime, mango... and more. This

fresh natural

and sugar-free dessert comes out super smooth, sweet, creamy and well aerated.

We

might even experiment and make a vegan " pumpkin pie " sorbet... Or chocolate

raspberry... The combinations are endless. Kids are welcome (they love this

stuff)!

WHAT TO BRING (choose one, or all)

-Frozen fruit of any kind, fresh or store bought, but chopped into cubes before

freezing,

or...

-Your own raw or baked vegan dessert and a quick list of ingredients, or...

-A vegan wine, a few of your favorite tea bags, your favorite drink, or...

That's it. We'll

have a spread of all sorbet varieties and other desserts for sampling.

That's it. We'll have a spread of all sorbet varieties and other desserts for

sampling.

Please remember, vegan means no animal ingredients, which includes honey and

other

animal by-products derived from dairy, eggs, etc.

Thanks and hope to see you there!
