Guest guest
Hi there BAV'ers, I need to arrange a group brunch on a Sunday morning in the South Bay. Visitors will be staying in San Jose, so in or near San Jose is preferable (but not completely necessary). I love Vegetarian House but they don't open until 11, and they don't serve breakfast foods (and let me repeat: I *love* Vegetarian House and if you haven't been there lately, you need to go). Do you know of any place that opens at 9:00 on Sundays, and that you would recommend to a bunch of vegans? Even if they just serve good coffee with soymilk, and I can bring some vegan pastries or something. Thank you! Alex KFC Bury p.s. Important news for all veg*ns: Trader Joe's is now carrying vegan rice krispie treats. Marked vegan and everything. p.s.2 Great blog about telling your meat-eating friends (or not) when they're eating something vegan: http://prime.peta.org/2008/09/soybean-fear-to-tell-or-not-to-tell
Guest guest
I too, am always looking for vegan breakfast/brunch food and we are seriously lacking in the SouthBay. We need an Herbivore! The only place I know of that serves vegan breakfast food is Hobee's. They have a tofu scramble and possibly some other things that may be vegan or can be made vegan, but not sure if they serve these for breakfast, i.e., a veggie-grain burger. They have a few locations in the the area: one in San Jose and the Campbell location is on the border of San Jose. Here's a link: http://www.hobees.com/locations.html If anyone knows of anywhere else, please let us know.
