Guest guest
Hi,For those following the presidential race, I have posted a new entry on my blog about John McCain's record and positions on animal and environmental issues. This is the second installment in a two-part series: in the first, I analyzed Barack Obama's stance on these issues. Voters should understand that there are marked differences between McCain and Obama, and that we need to understand the issues to choose the candidate who most closely embodies our values and vision for the future. Even though the campaigns and the media often present the presidential election as some kind of personality test or popularity contest or celebrity slugfest, it shouldn't be any of these given the state of our nation. This election is serious business and the issues matter, so no matter who you vote for -- Obama, McCain, Nader, or another candidate -- please make sure it's based on an informed decision. Sincerely,Mat Thomaswww.animalrighter.org
