Driving to Sacramento? Can you transport 2 Siamese cats?

Some of you may have seen an email from me last Friday asking if anyone could help out with three Siamese cats who were going to be put to sleep at SF ACC unless we could find foster or permanent homes for them.

The GOOD NEWS is that the cats are SAFE: one cat has been taken in by a local cat rescue group, and a nice couple is willing to take the other two cats IF we can get them to Sacramento. They live near Lake Tahoe on the Nevada side, and are elderly, so they can't drive all the way down to SF.

SOOO we're looking for a ride up to Sacramento for these two lucky cats. Are YOU driving up there in the next week or so? OR do you know anyone who will be heading up there in the next week? We will need to get the cats out of ACC by Wednesday evening at the latest, but we have a safe place for them to wait in case we can't find anyone going up in the next few days.
