This ad, as it turns out, is very effective. Here are the results of a

study measuring people's reaction to the ad:

The emotions provoked most often among study participants are " anger "

and " disturbed " , with 54% of people viewing the ad feeling either

angry or disturbed. It also helps that the contents of the ad are

true! No embellishment requirement - the practice that Sarah Palin

promotes really is that despicable.

 

So, donating to help air the ad is good use of your money, from the

point of view of keeping McCain and Palin out of the White House, and

from the point of view of building a national mandate for animal

welfare.
