Guest guest
Please join us for Bay Area Vegetarians' " Fragrance Land dinner " in Cupertino Thursday September 18th , at 7:00 PM The dinner is open to both veg*ns and non-veg*ns, but please note, that if you will be sitting with the group, only VEGAN food can be ordered. Fragrance Land is about 95% vegan, so that will not be difficult. I would appreciate getting an exact count of who will be attending, so that the staff can be prepared to accommodate us. Please RSVP by 12 noon on the day of the dinner, either by replying to this email or at: http://www.bayareaveg.org/events. Fragrance Land is directly across the street from the Cupertino Post office Fragrance Land 21670 Stevens Creek Blvd Cupertino, CA 95014
Guest guest
Hi all, First posting from a recent lurker. Been veggie for many years.Would someone be able to give me a ride to this dinner from Mountain View? Sounds like a good first event to get to know some of you. I'm home recovering from a broken femur and can't get around yet. tia,BarryOn Sat, Sep 13, 2008 at 10:22 AM, Sharon Mangini <sharonomoh wrote: Please join us for Bay Area Vegetarians' " Fragrance Land dinner " in Cupertino Thursday September 18th , at 7:00 PM The dinner is open to both veg*ns and non-veg*ns, but please note, that if you will be sitting with the group, only VEGAN food can be ordered. Guest guest
> Please join us for Bay Area Vegetarians' "Fragrance Land dinner" in Cupertino Thursday September 18th , at 7:00 PMHi, I finally had the opportunity to try Fragrance Land and it was quite nice. It's great for groups because it has large round tables, and it has quite a big menu to choose from. There were 6 of us, and only 1 had been to the restaurant before. So, we tried to approach sampling the menu in a somewhat organized manner by picking 1 dish from each category. All the dishes were good ... Two appetizers - deep fried silken tofu and scallion pancakes were good starting choices. Of the 6 entrees we tried, I can't remember the names of all of them, but particularly memorable for me were the 'salt & pepper veggie fish' and the 'curry chicken'. Compared to recent meals at New World and Golden Era, the portions are large. Splitting 2 appetizers and 6 entrees, it was less than $13.50 per person (tax/tip included).Sharon's reminder that it's across the street from the Post Office is a good one as the restaurant sign wasn't immediately obvious to me.Checking out a new restaurant is always fun with a group, because you get to try more dishes.
