Hi all,

Want to help get the veg message out to a LOT of people with a quick errand?

Need a Berkeley resident (with ID) to drop off a film at 2239 MLK

(Allston/Bancroft, near Berkeley BART Station). (see Dan's email below with

info)

Additionally, BAVeg has also been offered a copy of this film for a

screening. In the course of chatting with the person who made that offer

(not Dan), I got the scoop on how the film addressed eating eggs/dairy:

" There are no specifics on any kind of food. It is more environmental in

nature, about what the global warming problem is, why it needs to be

addressed and how eating less meat reduces global warming. There is nothing

diet or food specific, only how not eating meat is important. "

Just need one person! And if you know of other places to air this, and want

a copy, even better. AND -- honestly, you don't even have to be veg to do

this errand, so if you have a relative who is open-minded and can do this

quick errand, please ask them.

Cheers,

Tammy

Berkeley Community Media

Berkeley Community Media airs films on its public access station and is

willing to show the 1-hour, powerful, pro-veg documentary /A Sacred

Duty: Applying Jewish Values to help Heal the World/ (see ASacredDuty.org

for info).

The only catch is that someone who resides in Berkeley, with proper ID, has

to bring it in with a form. I could mail the DVD and the form to whomever is

willing to do this. If you'd like, I can send an additional DVD for you to

view/keep/share.
