Guest guest
Okay all, after reading that Milpitas has a vegan place I had to go. My carnivorous husband & I went Saturday evening around 6pm and had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. It was great to see they were bustling and busy. Very clean place and a large menu. We had the Yam Moons (very yummy), crispy rice (my husbands favorite), spring rolls (also great), and the coconut cake (VERY YUMMY). I will go back for sure, but next time for lunch because that menu looked incredible. Definitly worth the wait, very friendly staff. They do offer to-go but not deliveries (so sad as I work very close). So happy eating! Bobbie
Guest guest
Hi all,Bobbie, thanks for reporting back on Loving Hut. I looked at their website, too, when I was adding them to the Ultimate Guide and the photo menu is simply beautiful.I think it is especially helpful for new restaurants if they get some good early reviews, and if you would also post them in UG, that'd be helpful as there are a lot more people that use UG that are not on SFBAVEG (and hence won't see your post)http://bayareaveg.org/ug/glossary.htm#addSecondly, if anyone would like to host a Veganauts dinner at Loving Hut, please let me know! Veganauts is an opportunity to explore vegan food at vegetarian restaurants throughout the Bay Area. Sept will be East Bay, Oct is SF, Nov is South Bay. http://veganauts.comCheers,Tammy Upcoming BAVeg Events: 09/06 Grass-and-Lake Vegan Food Party - Lake Temescal (Oakland) 09/06 Power to the Peaceful: Go Veg Leafleting - SF (Golden Gate Park) 09/14 Outreach at Solano Stroll - Albany 09/20 Have a Heart, Go Veg Leafleting & Lunch - SF Sign-up for our monthly newsletter to stay informed and active! Guest guest
Hi Bobbie,I also went there. Very nice place. For those familiar with the Vegetarian House, it is the same owner, so foods are similar if not the same. One negative, during lunch time we could not get dishes from the dinner menu. Not a biggie.
