But what about the millions of chickens that suffer unmitigated misery because KFC stubbornly refuses to make changes recommended by PETA and KFC's own animal welfare panal? Should Americans be proud of that? Gas killing would eliminate a major part of the horrors experienced by KFC chickens.KFC Canada recently announced its plan to cooperate with PETA and use only gas killed chickens in the future! On SATURDAY, July 5 there will be a " patriotic demonstration " to ask compassionate Americans to boyott KFC until they agree to meet PETA's animal welfare standards and to follow Canada's example.
