Salt - fat - starch ... the perfect discomfort food combo. Mac and cheese fits the bill nicely.

 

I know that many are all enthralled with Oprah, and when she focuses attention upon her favorite causes, she does bring good into the world. But in the area of health, honestly, that's just not what she has to give to others. If we simply calibrate our enthusiasm accordingly, then we shall not set ourselves up to feel disappointment when she (or anyone) does not give what she/they simply do not have to give.

Macaroni and Cheese is one of her favorite comfort foods she has cravings for. In fact, it's one of the items that made her gain back her weight. (long time ago)

in all honest, mac and cheese was one of my favorite things...while growing up!

anyway, i guess i can see how it could be a "comfort food" to some.

 

i still like to have a little vegan mac and chreese every now and then.

 

maybe one of us ought to send her a couple boxes of it.
