Hi, everyone:

I don't know how closely you all have been following the Light Brown Apple Moth

spray issue, but

it's scary stuff, with the potential to negatively impact everyone, including

the animals that I

know many listmembers have in our lives.

The May meeting of the SF Animal Control & Welfare Commission will focus on the

spray's potential effects on domestic animals & wildlife. This is the first

local meeting I'm aware

of to address this, & you don't have to live in SF to attend.

Specifics on the meeting are below. I'd appreciate it if you don't include my

contact information

in any reposting, as I don't know any more than what's stated below. (The

representative of Animal

Care has said that " opponents of the spray " have also been invited to present,

but I'm not sure

which group she's referrring to.)

All the best,

Phoenix
