Art Institute exhibit of animals being bludeonedI emailed

I emailed SFAI about this exhibit. They emailed back the freedom of

artistic message they stand by. These were the people on the email

chain. In case anyone wants to send more messages:

" Bob Gamboa " <bgamboa

 

I responded asking what is the artistic message. I think it is

important to have a positive message tied to such a topic. I hope

they will respond with something. So far, all I have gotten is this

is a reality in life. But I questioned if they would also allow an

exhibition of video tape of children being molested or killed, a

serial killer slaughtering their prey, etc. These are realities too.

So again ethical line or positive messaging.

 

I do think it is important we have a place that allows for freedom of

the arts. And maybe we can use this to our advantage someday. Maybe

this can be a topic of discussion for the group.

 

I hope this makes some sense. I have a broken wrist and typing with

one hand.

Interesting, I emailed Chris at the email provided by

PETA and have yet to hear a response...do let me know
