Guest guest
Next week. He’s hilarious, charming, and totally dedicated to both animal rights and having fun. http://blog.peta.org/archives/2008/03/queerty_talks_t.php If you think the two are mutually exclusive, check out Dan’s book. When you’re done reading it, sign up for a Bay Area Vegetarians leafleting event. Yes, we’re seriously helping animals, but damn is it ever fun to dress up, joke with friends, meet new people, and eat a yummy vegan meal afterwards. The only time I feel serious during leafleting is when it’s time to order appetizers. Spring rolls and pot stickers, or a soup? I wouldn’t have met Juan and Meliss and Libba and I don’t know who else if it hadn’t been for leafleting, or had time to hang out with Jordan and Bobby and other regulars. See you at the next one! I think I’ll wear my chef costume for the April leafleting, but I would also recommend animal costumes, lettuce leaves, body paint, wedding dresses or crossing guard vests. I have a full set of surgery scrubs if someone wants to be a doctor. Don’t worry, they’ve never been worn. J Next event: April 5. Thank you!
