hi re rat in house in San Francisco - any safe release place? - any rat vets anyone knows of?

Hi Everybody, I have a friend who lives in the Upper Market/Twin Peaks

area of San Francisco. A rat has been living behind her frig. She

finally caught it in a humane trap and does not know a safe place to

release it. Anybody know of a good place in the inner Bay Area? And,

it sounds as though she's considering letting it live in her house.

Anybody know of a SF vet would would evaluate it for health problems?
