Guest guest
http://www.frugalfoodies.com/ I'm going out of town, that's why I'm telling everyone ahead of time, they are having a VEGAN cooking event on Tue March 11, 6:30pm, cooking recipes from the Millennium cookbook. It will be 6 vegan dishes. You won't know which recipes you are cooking until you attend the event. The event is laid back but a little hecktic sharing the stove space but it's worth the $7. you can sign up early next week and say veggie Winnie told you about the event. If you are on the waiting list, there's a good chance you'll get in all the other Tuesday parties are always veggies (not vegan), sometimes with dairy and egg product, the March 11 is definately vegan The event is in a veggie household. The pots and utensils never touched meat. All participants must wash their hands before cooking. after checking the web site, RSVP to J Moses Ceaser <moses; You might be able to sign up before the March schedule is up. The schedule will probably be up around Feb 27. Almost every event is a sold out event, with 90% meat eaters attending. This is a great event at for the meat and veggie community. I've heard meat eaters say, it's great to learn how to cook vegetables without having to put pork fat in it! Only a small hand full of veggie people on this list attended this event,,,,which is surprises me...I hope to see you at a future cooking event == great story, I was volunteering for the SPCA, when doing introductions, I said I love animals so MUCH I DON"T EAT THEM. One of the other volunteers told me that she doesn't want to eat meat but dont' know how to make that change, so she wanted me to give her some advice.. She loves her dogs so much, and saw the connection, but didn't know how to make the transition... let's reach out to those people... any film makers out there make to make another film like "SuperSize Me" or "Peaceable Kingdom" I felt these film really reached out to a lot of people, at least people are eating less hamburgers and fast foods. (how bout a Star Wars Theme with Costumes?) sign, veggie winnie signature-slaughter house scene: one reason for the 138 million lb meat recallhttp://iteamblog.abc7news.com/2008/01/slaughterhouse.htmlhttp://www.hsus.org/ (complete footage, ugly scenes)
