Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am unsubscribing from this list because I have moved to Portland, OR but I wanted to thank everyone who participates for all of your posts over the years that I've been a member. It has been really valuable. Thank you to Tammy and Chris and all of your volunteer admins for keeping the website and listserve so organized and smoothed. Before I go, I would mention that quite a few vegan, gluten-free items can be had at Fellini Restaurant in Berkeley like the Asparagus Risotto. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi All,Emily, it's always great to hear that Bay Area Veg has been helpful/appreciated.> Thank you to Tammy and Chris and all of your volunteer admins for keeping the website and listserve so organized> and smoothed. We try! Karen and Doug are the other two volunteer admins and they do a great job at keeping the SFBAVEG list running smoothly, along with the support of everyone who remembers to sign their name :-)This is the 7th year and most likely the 14,597th message posted to SFBAVEG. There is a constant influx of new veg*ns joining the list and veg*ns who are new to the area. For all of you, welcome, I hope you become active in participating. We are a volunteer-driven group -- you decide what activities happen by what you organize :-) Hope to see some of you at tomorrow's letter writing party, the Activist Writers Salon.Cheers,TammyPeople often say that humans have always eaten animals, as if this is a justification for continuing the practice. According to this logic, we should not try to prevent people from murdering other people, since this has also been done since the earliest of times. -Isaac Bashevis Singer Upcoming BAVeg Events: 02/17 Activist Writers Salon - SF 02/29 Veganauts: Leap Year Mission - SF 03/04 Adopt-a-College Leafleting - Academy of Art University, SF 03/02 Food For Thought: Making Burros Fly: Cleveland Amory, Animal Rescue Pioneer - Mountain View 03/15 Have a Heart, Go Veg Leafleting & Lunch - SF Sign-up for our monthly newsletter to stay informed and active!
