Don't Miss the Valentine's Day Luncheon and Movie Showing of " Miss

Potter " at the House Rabbit Society!

 

Our February 10 Valentine luncheon will be served buffet-style this year,

and we will have plenty of tables set up so that you can stay as long as

you would like.

 

The menu features vegetarian chili, a very heart-y salad, a variety of

spreads and dips and an assortment of bread and crackers. For dessert

we'll be serving raspberry cloud souffle and cookies.

 

Beverages include tea, sparking cranberry or pomegranate, or heart-healthy

cabernet for an additional $2.00. The soufflé is not vegan, but if you

need a vegan dessert, let us know and we'll gladly accommodate.

 

The luncheon will be from 12:30 until 2:00 at which time will close the

blinds and show the charming, beautifully filmed movie, " Miss Potter, "

starring Rene Zellweger. The movie runs for about 90 minutes and we'll

serve popcorn too. If you've found yourself in the winter doldrums, this

will definitely lift your spirits! Beatrix Potter fans - we'll even have a

small display of Beatrix Potter gift and book items for sale just for the

weekend.

 

Cost for the luncheon is $12.50 with an additional $1.00 to stay and see

the movie. If your just coming for the movie and popcorn the fee is $2.00.
