Thursday Jan. 21st 9am-5pm Climate Change Conference at SFSU-LEAFLET?

Today and tomorrow (Thursday Jan. 21st 9am-5pm)

there a Climate Change Conference at SFSU in the student union on the

3rd floor in Jack Adams Hall. I saw the program and attended for a few

hours on Wednesday. The entire conference is completely ignoring the

MEAT and eco-destruction/GLOBAL WARMING issue. NO speakers, NO veg

groups, NO discussion of the connection at all. I am imploring

everyone who can get there (I can not get there until 4pm) to show up

with " Think Again " leaflets from PETA or Why Vegan or How to Win an

Argument with a Meat Eater or any other ENVIRONMENT-related tools to

encourage folks to give up meat TO STOP GLOBAL WARMING. This is the

Prius and lightbulb crowd and a bunch of PhDs from SFSU who are

omitting the issue from the agenda.
