One of the reasons that I attend the SF letter writing party (LWP) is because I believe that contacting businesses and legislators DO make a difference. And since the animals can't write their own letters, I try to write a few of my own, every month. And when I'm at the LWP, it's really easy to do .... because I get too distracted with other stuff (like email!) when I'm home.

So check out the next BAVeg letter writing parties - there's one monthly in the East Bay as well as one in SF. Sara and Dana make it so easy .. they bring topics and letter writing supplies ... the only thing you have to do is show up and write the letters. Coincidentally, both are happening at Herbivore in Berkeley and in SF/Valencia, respectively, for Feb. See the event calendar for details.
