Hi all,

I can only speak for myself .. but I had a wonderful time leafleting on Saturday Jan 12th . After being rained out in December, we had beautiful blue sky and sunshine, and lots and lots of people to leaflet!

However, we had to cut it short ... because we ran out of leaflets! We had distributed 550 leaflets in about 80-90 minutes. We finished 15 minutes earlier than the planned two hours ... Photos & more

Leafleting is one of those activities where we get VEG information directly into the hands of people who otherwise may not seek it out. Personally, I had people who were very enthusiastic about receiving it and quite a few who initially said no, but then turned back around and asked for one. In fact, it was so busy, there were a lot of people that we simply could not offer leaflets too.

Did you know: Every second, 269 chickens are killed in the United States for food. For the average person, more than 35 animals a year are killed, or 2,600 over a 75 yr lifetime (Source: Viva!USA)

Look for an upcoming post about our next leafleting event on Feb 9th : Have a Heart, Go Veg Leafleting!

Additionally, remember, PETA's event happening soon - Speak Up for Animals (link below)

We hope you can join us as we make the world a kinder & gentler place for all beings. Cheers to my fellow leafleters, Alex, Juan, and Jordan -- we gave out 650 leaflets!!
